The Candlelight Open Air Mehfil-e-Sufi event took place against the majestic backdrop of the historic Safdarjung Tomb. Attendees enjoyed an enchanting evening of music performed under a sea of flickering candles in the heart of New Delhi. Presented in collaboration with the Sabhyata Foundation, this showcase brought globally loved performances to India. The program featured timeless Sufi poetry and melodies, paying tribute to legendary figures like Amir Khusro, Baba Bulleh Shah, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and the Sabri Brothers. The Indian Classical Ensemble, Nabeel Sarangi Live, performed live using a trio of sarangi, tabla, and keyboard to blend tradition with contemporary expression. This deeply moving musical journey included famous songs such as Mast Qalandar, Kun Faya Kun, and Tajdar-E-Haram. Designed for listeners, the event provided a soulful escape within a breathtaking heritage setting that illuminated the night through its carefully curated and beautiful candlelit atmosphere.
