Some evenings asked nothing but to show up and listen. Presented by Swaranjali, this concert brought Carnatic and Hindustani classical music together across two unhurried halves. The first featured Vidwan Ramana Balachandran, who performed alongside Vidwan Arjun Kumar on mridangam and Vidwan G. Guru Prasanna on khanjira. The second half moved into Hindustani music with bansuri maestro Ashwin Srinivasan, accompanied by tabla artist Ojas Adhiya. From Carnatic vocals to the soulful sound of the bansuri, the evening celebrated two rich classical traditions on one stage. All proceeds from the concert went toward supporting gifted classical musicians and helping preserve these art forms for future generations.
