Ibtida Ek Mehfil hosted its third archival season in the vibrant city of Hyderabad, focusing on the deep relationship the local community shared with music. The event invited exactly three hundred guests to experience a private baithak gathering, which was designed to foster an intimate atmosphere. The program featured the celebrated Nizami Bandhu, who brought their rich heritage of qawwali to a small group of attendees. Instead of a large auditorium, the performance occurred in a cozy setting where cushions and gadda seating brought the audience close to the musicians. This unique arrangement allowed the sound to envelop the room, creating an immersive experience that moved beyond the conventional concert format. The evening remained dedicated to the traditional art of qawwali, where every silence and verse held profound significance for the listeners who gathered to celebrate this ancient cultural performance.
