Postfest India brought three of India's finest post-rock acts to one Mumbai stage, and the room felt entirely different by the time it was over. Feathers of a Broken Wing from Hyderabad started somewhere fragile and ended somewhere devastating, moving through stillness and thunder without ever losing their footing. Seconds in Space, Mumbai's five-piece cosmic outfit known for tracks like 'Nova', sat somewhere between ambient and cinematic in a way that was hard to describe and impossible to ignore. Afterlife closed out the night, bringing their own atmospheric intensity to a lineup that was already stacked. No lyrics. No filler. Three bands played music that actually meant something, and the audience showed up because they already knew the difference.

That was A Night for the Souls Who Feel Too Much.
