Aurora - What Happened to the Earth?
Overview
That night, the Palacio de los Deportes did not feel like an arena, and what unfolded inside it did not feel like a concert. Eighteen thousand people inside the arena is already a significant number, but what the film captures is something that raw attendance figures don't adequately explain. The crowd knew exactly what they had come for, and they had come prepared to feel everything. People from all over Latin America came to be part of a movement that was beyond just listening to songs.
Aurora, through her music, created an ecosystem of fans through authenticity. She never needed the commercial push, and the raw talent she presented screamed genuineness. People respond to such artists with loyalty as they understand the crux of their songs.
