Fun Facts

- Although the movie is set in Brazil during a high-stakes World Cup event, it was actually filmed almost entirely in Queensland, Australia.

- The film was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the same duo behind the Deadpool and Zombieland franchises. Fans have noted that the banter between Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser carries that signature fast-paced, R-rated 'meta' humor.
