Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine
Overview
Seville is warm, unhurried, and hiding something extraordinary.
Berlin arrives restless, the kind of restless that only a perfectly impossible job can cure. He finds his cure inside the private collection of an ambitious duke: a Leonardo da Vinci original, quietly kept from the world and worth more than most countries dare to dream about.
The duke wants the operation to be successful in a stealthy manner. Everything was smooth for Berlin until the Duke decided to play foul by blackmailing. The Duke did not realise who he was blackmailing. Berlin retaliates in such a lethal way that the Duke does not know what is coming towards him.

Fun Facts
- Unlike some productions that rely heavily on soundstages, this series was filmed extensively on location in Seville, Madrid, San Sebastián, and Peñíscola. The production team reportedly shut down major tourist areas in Seville to film high-speed sequences near the city's historic landmarks to capture the "authentic Spanish heat" that creators Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato wanted.
- The writers have hinted that The Lady with an Ermine explores Berlin’s darker side. Since it is set years before the events of Money Heist, this installment bridges the gap between the 'lover' Berlin of Paris and the more 'ruthless' Berlin we first met in the Royal Mint of Spain.
