Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata
Overview
Mumbai, 26th November 2008. Everyone knows what happened outside. This is the story of what happened inside.
Cama Hospital sits in the middle of it all, not as a target exactly, but close enough that the distinction barely matters. Inside are 400 patients who cannot leave, cannot run, and have no say in what's unfolding around them. The people responsible for keeping them alive are doctors, nurses, and ward staff. They are the kind of people who choose this work on ordinary days and are now being asked to do it under the worst possible conditions.
The concept of heroism is subjective shaped by movies, but this film offers a different view. A nurse is looking after the patients in the ward despite the opportunity to prioritise her own safety over theirs. The doctor has no options and has to take a call. So, there’s a risk in decision-making when such a situation arises.
