Tasmania is behind them. Dulcie and Eddie are in Darwin now, and the heat hits differently up here. Season 2 opens with a personal mission. Eddie's former policing partner, Bushy, is dead, and she and Dulcie have come north to quietly look into it. That plan lasts for about five minutes. A body part turns up in a remote outback community called Barra Creek, and suddenly the two detectives are neck deep in a full murder case, whether they signed up for it or not.

Deadloch Season 2 transitions the biting comedy and sharp crime mystery from the cool Tasmanian coast to the sweltering heat of the northern outback in Darwin.
