Digger is an upcoming dark comedic satire film that centers on the life of an ultra-wealthy oil tycoon who identifies himself as the most powerful man in the world. When his deep-drilling operation located in Greenland accidentally destabilizes a massive glacial shelf, he triggers an ecological chain reaction that threatens a global catastrophe. This disaster carries the potential to spiral into nuclear war and requires an estimated eighteen trillion dollars to repair. With the global community in total uproar, the sitting United States President, played by John Goodman, forces the billionaire to take full responsibility and clean up the massive mess he created. The story follows this egotistical man as he desperately tries to rebrand himself as the hero and savior of humanity, even as nature constantly maneuvers to outwit him at every turn during this high-stakes, tense, and deeply humorous cinematic experience.
