Dorohedoro Season 2
Overview
The second season of Dorohedoro dives much deeper into the chaotic and grimy mystery of who Kaiman actually is. After a bit of a delay from its original 2025 schedule, the story now shifts its focus toward the Jujime, which is a mysterious group of low level sorcerers who all have the same red crosses tattooed on their eyelids. As Kaiman and his best friend Nikaido continue their hunt, they realize that the secrets of the curse are tied to the dark history of the missing boss of the Jujime.

Fun Facts
- Dorohedoro has always been Hayashi's passion project, but after Season 1 wrapped, he was pulled into the mammoth task of directing Attack on Titan: The Final Season, which occupied him for four years. Only after completing AoT could he return to Dorohedoro, which is why the six-year wait happened. The delay wasn't indifference, it was unavoidable scheduling.
- Sharp-eyed fans of the manga have long spotted Q Hayashida's love for Slipknot hidden in plain sight. In Episode 7 of Season 1, a background shot features four masked figures on spikes that closely mirror the costumes of the band's members, and the album Iowa quietly appears on a shelf in another scene.
