Evil Dead Burn
Overview
Alice has just lost her husband Joseph, left with a silence that follows her everywhere. She finds fragile comfort with her in-laws, bonding with his mother over shared grief that isn't comfortable, just survivable. Then the house turns. One by one the family become Deadites, familiar faces hollowed into something wearing their shape but holding nothing of who they were. Unarmed and untrained, Alice finds the vows she took in life somehow survive in death, for better, for worse, until the last one falls. Evil Dead Burn marks a first for the franchise, set entirely in one family home as a standalone story with no ties to prior films, the sixth theatrical entry in the series.

Fun Facts
- The secluded family home in Evil Dead Burn is not a fresh location. Production designer Nick Bassett confirmed that the same house was intentionally selected after previously being used as Ruby's home in Ash vs. Evil Dead. In that show, Ruby created the Necronomicon itself, making her home essentially a hub in Deadite lore. Most audiences will have no idea. Hardcore fans will notice immediately.
- For the first time in the 45-year history of the Evil Dead franchise, the rights holders have put two entirely separate movies into production at the same time. While Vaniček's Evil Dead Burn is releasing first, director Francis Galluppi is simultaneously helming a completely separate sister project titled Evil Dead Wrath.
