Four Hands, Two Sonatas
Overview
Kang Bi-o looks like he has everything figured out. A piano prodigy ranked first at his elite arts high school, and confident & polished on every stage. Beneath the perfection sits anxiety that never stops arriving, pressure that gets heavier with every performance.
Choi Jeong-yo comes to music after a difficult childhood that pushes him toward the piano rather than the life everyone expected of him. The two are opposites in every way that matters. But when both of them meet at Korea Arts High School, something shifts.
Their rivalry grows into a deep musical bond. Over twelve episodes, the drama follows them from their teenage years through adulthood, exploring the weight of artistic excellence, personal ambition and the relationships that shape who they become. Four hands on a single piano means two performers creating something neither could achieve alone. That is what they are building toward.
