Fuze
Overview
Nobody planned for a World War II bomb to turn up in the middle of a London construction site. But there it is, buried and still live, and suddenly the city has a problem it has no manual for.
Fuze works because it never lets either story swallow the other. The heist needs the bomb. The bomb gives cover to the heist. And caught between them is a man who came to defuse one crisis and found himself in the middle of something far more deliberately designed.

Fun Facts
- Despite being one of Britain's most celebrated directors, David Mackenzie was shooting in London for the first time with Fuze. He noted that when he sees London on film it often looks downbeat and lacks the cinematic qualities of cities like New York or Paris, making it a personal challenge to capture the capital at its most vivid and alive.
- Filming was complicated by the comings and goings of the King, whose movements around London disrupted the production schedule on at least one occasion, though David Mackenzie took it in stride.
