Everything has always been heading here.

Abashiri Prison sits at the frozen edge of Hokkaido, maximum security, built to contain what society considers uncontainable. Inside it is Noppera-bo, the man who stole the Ainu gold, killed everyone who knew about it, and carved its location across twenty-four prisoners before anyone could take that knowledge from him.

Nobody at Abashiri is entirely trustworthy, including the people on the same side. The prison is where the battle happens. It is also where everything the series kept hidden finally comes out.
