Overview

A historic epic re-runs your not-so-good history lessons! Goliath is dead but the war is not over. David struggles to find his footing in his first real battle, while his brothers and Joab fight through the chaos to reach him before the Philistines do. The shepherd who killed a giant with a stone now has to learn what it means to lead soldiers who have been doing this their whole lives.

House of David Season 2 is a compelling historical drama that explores the intricate reign of King David in ancient Israel.

Fun Facts

- House of David Season 2 takes a deliberately uncomfortable approach to its biblical heroes. Neither David nor Saul gets the clean heroic arc you might expect. Both men fail, rationalise their failures, and face consequences.

- Not a single scene of House of David was filmed in Israel. The production scouted Jordan, Morocco, Italy, and Israel itself before settling on Greece for its ancient ruins and varied terrain, with Calgary's backlots and open landscapes filling in for marketplaces and rural scenes.
