Husbands in Action
Overview
Narcotics detective Choong-sik had gotten very good at keeping his distance. His ex-wife Si-nae had moved on, found someone calmer and steadier, and he had made his peace with it.
Right after he finally arrests the boss of a dangerous drug ring he spent years tracking, the gang retaliates instantly by kidnapping Si-nae and their daughter.
When the kidnappers issue their ransom demands, Choong-sik is forced to bypass his unit and immediately team up with Min-seok, the gentle veterinarian currently married to his ex-wife.

Fun Facts
- A major focal point during filming was the stark physical and behavioral contrast between the two 'husbands.' Gong Myoung, playing the sweet and gentle vet Min-seok, had to play the perfect, frantic foil to Jin Sun-kyu's rugged, rough-around-the-edges detective persona.
- The supporting cast features major Netflix K-drama veterans. Yoon Kyung-ho is jokingly referred to by production staff as a Netflix staple, having appeared in a massive roster of the platform’s hits including All of Us Are Dead, My Name, Vincenzo, and The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.
