Fun Facts
- Season 4 features an entirely original storyline involving the character Damien Darkblood using Nolan’s blood to try and summon him to Hell, accidentally pulling Mark Grayson down instead to fight the devil. Creator Robert Kirkman revealed that this was a classic superhero trope he desperately wanted to write during the comic's original run, but he repeatedly got sidetracked. The animated series gave him his first chance to finally bring the concept to life.
- In a fun bit of strategic scheduling by Prime Video, the weekly airing schedule of Invincible Season 4 was intentionally aligned to drop its episodes side-by-side with the final season of Amazon's other massive adult superhero juggernaut, The Boys. Kirkman jokingly noted that the show gets to 'hide behind the trailblazing of The Boys' when pushing the boundaries of extreme on-screen violence and gore.
