Fun Facts
- Saurabh Shukla actually wrote this as a screenplay first before it ever became a hit play. Bringing it to the screen in 2026 was a full-circle moment for a story he had lived with for years, transitioning it from the page to the stage and finally to cinema.
- The film’s debut at IFFI Goa in late 2024, nearly 18 months before its ZEE5 release, was a deliberate ‘prestige’ play. That long festival run served as a clear signal that this was a piece of cinema intended for the critics and the soul, rather than just the streaming algorithms.
