Jazz City is a gripping web series set in 1971 Calcutta during the intense period of conflict across the border. Jimmy Roy operates a popular jazz club with cool indifference until he is drawn into a dangerous political game by an intelligence officer named Sinha. The club soon becomes a secret sanctuary for three Bangladeshi students pursued by military forces. As Jimmy navigates this complex situation, his past connection with the idealistic Sheela forces him to confront his own apathy. This show expertly transforms the lively jazz club into a tense, smoky center of covert resistance while the real world shifts outside its doors.
