Karna lives as an ordinary boy until the ancient demon Kalimba breaks free and spreads corruption across the world. It does not announce itself. It started his reign of terror without drawing any attention initially, but then took charge all at once. Having the same mission and  operating from the shadows, Kalimba spreads its corruption through unsuspecting hosts, striking all at once with a single, devastating purpose. What triggers Karna to react is when Kalimba’s terror reaches his mother.

To save his mother and stop Kalimba's chaos, Karna must train to master the power within him or risk losing everything. Kalimba is not waiting for him to get ready. Karna's mother is running out of time. Both of those things are true simultaneously, and that tension is where the series lives.
