Ladies First
Overview
Damien Sachs has built a very comfortable life for himself. Money, power, a CEO title within reach, and an endless stream of casual flings he has absolutely no intention of questioning. He is, by his own estimation, doing everything right.
Then he wakes up somewhere else entirely.
The parallel world Damien finds himself in looks familiar but feels completely wrong. Women run everything - the boardrooms, the construction sites, the conversations - while men are expected to show up, look presentable, and not have too many opinions about any of it. The same dynamic that Damien spent his career benefitting from, has been completely flipped.

Fun Facts
- Ladies First is an English-language adaptation of the 2018 French film Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile (I Am Not an Easy Man), directed by Éléonore Pourriat. The original quietly built a cult following for the precision of its premise before Netflix brought it to a global audience seven years later.
- Casting Sacha Baron Cohen as the chauvinist at the centre of this film was not an accident. Between Borat, Bruno, and Admiral General Aladeen, he has spent his career playing men who are arrogant, oblivious, and completely convinced of their own superiority. The humbling only lands as hard as the arrogance that precedes it, and few actors have as much practice at the arrogance.
