Overview

Rudd, has built exactly the life he planned for. Successful real estate agent, married with two teenage sons, and on the verge of landing his own reality TV show. The only shadow over any of it is his real older brother Josh, a self-made billionaire, who has spent years making Rudd feel like the lesser version of everything.

Then Marcus shows up and makes all of that feel manageable by comparison.

The chaos he brings is relentless. Nothing about him fits neatly into any plan, and suddenly neither does anything else.

Funny, chaotic, and underneath it all, a film about what happens to a man when the thing disrupting his perfect life turns out to be exactly what was missing from it.

Fun Facts

- John Cena and Eric André joined the cast in December 2024, with Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, and Ego Nwodim joining in July 2025. Principal photography took place in New Jersey in July 2025 under the working title Untitled Roommates Project keeping the real project completely under wraps until the official announcement.

-The film was shot entirely in New Jersey, which doubled as the backdrop for Rudd's meticulously ordered real estate world- a fitting choice given that the real Nick Tosches, whose novel inspired In the Hand of Dante, was also from Newark, New Jersey.

-Despite being a Netflix original, Little Brother received a special theatrical premiere at the iconic Paris Theater in Manhattan on June 18, 2026-a full week before its global Netflix debut on June 26, giving it a proper cinematic send-off before arriving on streaming.
