Maa Behen
Overview
Every family has its fault lines. In Maa Bhen, one night is all it takes to crack them wide open.
Rekha, a mother already juggling more than enough, opens her kitchen to find something she absolutely cannot explain to anyone. A dead body. With her two daughters, Jaya the responsible one and Sushma the wild card, she has perhaps hours to figure out what to do and no time at all for the years of unresolved history sitting between the three of them.
They are not a team anymore. There is too much history there, the kind that does not get resolved over a phone call and makes sharing a kitchen feel like a negotiation even on a normal day. But this is not a normal day, and old grievances are a luxury none of them can afford right now.

Fun Facts
- Triptii Dimri revealed that the script hit incredibly close to home, instantly triggering a specific childhood memory from her own neighborhood. Growing up, there were two single, very fashionable women living nearby who were heavily judged and gossiped about by the local community. Parents would warn children not to go near their house.
- While Madhuri and Triptii lead the marquee, the casting of popular digital content creator Dharna Durgaa as the youngest daughter, Sushma, is a major talking point. Interestingly, her character in the film is also a content creator trapped in the chaos. Director Suresh Triveni noted that despite the high-profile ensemble, the casting process was shockingly easy because the chemistry between the three leading women clicked instantly during initial readings.
