In this reimagined epic, the story starts on Earth, where ten-year-old Adam was sent away to escape a devastating war on his home planet, Eternia. He lived for fifteen years as a modern-day outcast with no memory of his royal lineage, and then his life changes forever when he is reunited with the dormant Power Sword. Upon touching the blade, he is transported back to Eternia, a world already deteriorating beneath the iron-fisted magic of the tyrant Skeletor.

The film blends gritty science fiction technology with high-stakes sorcery.
