Me & Roboco - The Movie
Overview
Robots replaced game consoles. Every kid has one, which means Bondo's fixation on getting his own OrderMaid was socially reasonable. Then Roboco arrived, and the gap between what he ordered and what showed up became immediately apparent. Then the movie opened up the multiverse, and suddenly there wasn't just one Roboco to deal with.
A battle-hardened Roboco from a dystopian world where humans and robots have gone to war. He is stern and almost emotionless. A clumsy romantic comedy Roboco, who stumbled through every scene, leaving adorable chaos in her wake. A Showa-era gag manga Roboco, who was straight out of mid-20th century comedy. Each one was unmistakably her and each one was completely different.

Fun Facts
- The movie is built as a direct parody of Doraemon. The creator, Shuhei Miyazaki, designed the character dynamics to mirror the classic 'loser boy and robot' trope, but with the twist that Roboco is a high-spec 'OrderMaid' who looks more like a wrestler than a cat-robot.
- The protagonist, Bondo, is canonically obsessed with Weekly Shonen Jump. In the anime, the magazines he reads often feature real-world covers that were current at the time of the episode’s production.
