Fun Facts
- The movie trilogy traces its roots back to the 2006 anthology Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales. Its Bakeneko arc introduced the mysterious Medicine Seller, who then got his own Mononoke anime in 2007. Nearly two decades later, that spin-off has grown into a full-fledged movie trilogy. Talk about a franchise that just kept evolving!
