Mousetrap
Overview
Moon-jae is a reclusive novelist who has spent years living in his own world, finding greater comfort in fiction than in the life around him. Everything changes when a mysterious figure known as “The Rat” steals his identity, leaving him unable to access his finances, phone, and other essentials. Stripped of his name and fortune, Moon-jae is left with no way to prove who he truly is.
Desperate to get his life back, he seeks help from the last person he ever wanted to face: No-ja, a loan shark who also runs a private detective agency and has been searching for Moon-jae for three years over an unpaid debt. Forced into an unlikely partnership, the two set out to find “The Rat.” But as they follow the trail, the case pulls them into a dangerous game where nothing is quite as it seems, and the difference between truth and deception becomes increasingly difficult to tell apart.
