Musafir Cafe
Overview
Chander is a software engineer. He has a life that makes complete sense on paper. Then one monsoon evening, a stranger walks into his world and turns everything sideways. Sudha arrives like a spark he never asked for, all impulse & intensity. And for a few reckless months, Chander forgets every plan he had made for himself.
Then she is gone, and years pass. Chander moves to the hills, opens a small cafe in Mussoorie, and slowly builds a life in that quiet space. Preeti walks in one day, and with her comes something steadier & warmer, the kind that does not burn but keeps you going.
Just as the wounds begin to heal, Sudha returns. Suddenly, the peaceful life Chander carefully curated must make room for the one question he thought he had already answered.

Fun Facts
- The series is a direct adaptation of the highly acclaimed Hindi novel of the same name by popular author Divya Prakash Dubey. Show creator and writer Sharanya Rajgopal worked closely to translate the book's signature poetic, conversational tone onto the screen while expanding the side characters to suit a multi-episode streaming format.
- While Vikrant Massey has spent the last few years winning massive critical acclaim for gritty, high-stakes dramas and biographical thrillers, Musafir Cafe was pitched to him as a intentional change of pace. The crew noted that Massey eagerly jumped at the chance to play Chander Mohan Sharma, a soft-spoken man looking for a life to call his own, marking his return to a completely grounded, classic romance role.
