My Royal Nemesis
Overview
Kang Dan-sim didn't climb to Royal Noble Consort- the highest rank in the Joseon inner court by playing it safe. Cunning, ambitious, and notorious enough to be called a national seductress, she still couldn't outmanoeuvre the rivals who eventually handed her a cup of poison. She had a contingency for that too. A forbidden ritual, a jade hairpin, and a soul stubborn enough to refuse a permanent ending.
She wakes up in 2026 inside Shin Seo-ri- unknown actress, mounting debts, career going nowhere. Dan-sim surveys the situation and concludes this is simply a different court. She has always been good at courts.
Then Cha Se-gye nearly runs her over. Cold, chaebol, perpetually important. They trade barbs. She immediately clocks him as the most powerful ally available and proceeds to embed herself in his life with the same unhurried precision she once used to conquer an entire dynasty.

Fun Facts
- When a dazed Dan-sim stumbles in front of Se-gye's car and he accuses her of faking an accident, she responds the only way a Joseon Royal Consort knows how by attacking him with flowers. The "Flower-Thrashing" scene went viral instantly, but it was her follow-up line - "How dare you run your vile mouth before a Senior First Rank Royal Consort?" - that broke the internet, spawning the now-iconic "possessed by Jang Hui-bin" meme.
- My Royal Nemesis exploded out of the gate. The show premiered at 4.1% for its first episode, climbing to 5.4% by episode 2. From there the numbers kept moving — episode 6 broke double digits for the first time at 10.3%, and episode 7 pushed the personal best further to 10.4%. Internationally, following its second episode it ranked No. 1 on Netflix's Global Non-English TV chart and landed in the Top 10 in 84 countries simultaneously.
