Overview

- The movie was originally titled Navagunjara, referencing a mythical creature from Indian folklore composed of nine different animals.  The Censor Board raised heavy objections to the title because it was intrinsically tied to the core psychological concept of the film. Because the makers refused to dilute the plot, the film's release was delayed multiple times. After extensive back-and-forth discussions, the team finally complied with guidelines and settled on the title Navya Chakra.

- Writer Rohit S. Yadav originally drew inspiration from ancient psychological allegories. However, as the script evolved, the narrative shifted heavily into a modern, gritty psychological-fantasy crime thriller. The final product questions the philosophical concepts of guilt, manipulation, and whether human beings truly possess free will if their minds can be hijacked.
