The second season of One Piece follows the Straw Hat crew as they finally leave the familiar waters of the East Blue for the chaotic and unpredictable open sea. Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji quickly realise that the Grand Line plays by its own rules, pushing their skills and their friendships to the breaking point. The story kicks in as they cross paths with Princess Vivi, a brave leader undercover who desperately needs their help to save her home, Arabasta, from a shadowy criminal group called Baroque Works.

One Piece is really about what it means to lead and the sacrifices you must make for the people you care about. Watching Vivi fight for her country forces Luffy to think more seriously about his own role as a captain.
