Fun Facts
- Showrunner Matt Charman came up with the core concept while stuck in traffic behind a prison transport van with his children. Seeing them speculate about who was inside sparked the idea of a story entirely contained within that high-security bubble which evolved into a plot where a prison guard is forced to shackle herself to a ruthless assassin.
- Principal photography spanned extensive locations across Wales and England. Filming took place throughout Caerphilly, Port Talbot, Newport, Powys, Swansea, and London, with interior set pieces constructed at Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff.
