Scary Movie (2026)
Overview
They actually sat down and said it out loud. No more running from people in masks, no more splitting up when splitting up is obviously the worst possible idea, and no more picking up strange objects in dark places; like curiosity has ever once helped anyone in these situations. Cindy, Brenda, Shorty, Ray - all four of them. In agreement and committed. Completely serious about the whole thing.
They meant it. That part was real.
Then the same masked killer from 26 years ago came back.

Fun Facts
- Marlon Wayans revealed that the family finally decided to return to the franchise after three specific events aligned: the downfall of Bob Weinstein, a newfound sense of divine purpose, and a final, poignant request from their late father. Marlon shared that Howell Wayans made the request for the brothers to work together again on his deathbed in 2023, making the reunion a deeply personal tribute.
- The film was originally slated for June 12, 2026, but Paramount moved it up to June 5, 2026, following an overwhelmingly positive response to the teaser trailer released in March.
