Spider-Noir
Overview
Set in the soot-stained streets of 1933 New York, the story follows a cynical and exhausted private investigator living in a city choking underneath the Great Depression and the iron grip of a powerful crime syndicate. Once the city's vibrant saviour, the hero has spent the last decade endeavouring to bury his past and living as a man broken by a war he could not win. He exists in a monochrome world where the line between hero and vigilante has blurred into a permanent shade of grey.

Fun Facts
- While Nicolas Cage voiced the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, this marks the first time he will play a live-action version of a Spider-Man movie. At 62 years old, Cage is fully leaning into the "aging, down-on-his-luck" persona of Ben Reilly, famously describing his performance as a mix of 70% Humphrey Bogart and 30% Bugs Bunny.
- While the show stands on its own, it is produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the architects of the Spider-Verse, ensuring the DNA of the character remains consistent with his fan-favorite roots.
