The Apartment Job
Overview
Park Hae Gang is a former boss of a crime syndicate. When police corruption lands his crew behind bars, a corrupt official demands 10 billion won for their release, and Hae Gang has 3 months to find it.
The fastest way in is a residents' association presidency. It sounds like a step down, but it is not. The complex sits on a ten-billion-won maintenance reserve fund, untouched and practically introducing itself.
Park Hae Gang arrives looking for a heist and leaves, exposing officials nobody else dares touch. The Apartment Job turns a scam into something bigger. Nobody expects this, not even the protagonist.
