The End of Oak Street
Overview
Oak Street is the kind of place where nothing happens, suburban and quiet, with daily concerns that run no deeper than the commute and the mortgage. Then something changes.
A cosmic event pulls the neighbourhood clean out of the world it belongs to, streets dropped into a landscape that follows no rule they know. Phone signals disappear, and nothing on the horizon points toward home. What waits out there is prehistoric, uninterested in being navigated.
Denise and Greg Platt, with their children Audrey and Brian, are left with only what they come in with. Dinosaurs are the visible problem. Old family secrets surface under that same pressure, with nowhere to escape each other.
The End of Oak Street is not really about prehistoric creatures or cosmic displacement. It is about ordinary people stripped of everything familiar, left with one question - what they are made of when everything else is gone.

Fun Facts
- For nearly two years during development and active shooting, the movie was publicly and heavily tracked under the working title Flowervale Street. The production was kept under massive lockdown to protect its plot twists. It wasn't until early 2026, right as the official teaser trailer dropped, that the studio finally pulled back the curtain to reveal the real, official title: The End of Oak Street.
- While early trade leaks simply labeled it a standard modern thriller, the official teaser confirmed a heavy dose of retro nostalgia. The entire film is firmly set against a 1980s suburban backdrop. The visual aesthetics and cinematography are heavily inspired by classic Steven Spielberg / Amblin-era creature features, balancing grounded family drama with high-concept sci-fi wonder and horror.
