A grey-haired grandfather, breaking every Bollywood convention with no cape, no lab, and no origin story in sight. Just a dada with a secret he has been keeping for a very long time.
A boy spends his time moving to new places, trying to befriend everyone, but has no luck. But he has no idea that the person who could change his life is nearest to him. The boy’s grandfather has a unique talent for protecting the motherland from outside threats. The Dadu’s talent remains a mystery, and the boy wants to keep it that way.
The film does not prioritise physical spectacle over emotional wisdom. Grandfather epitomises patience, great character, and mental strength, which is low-key and subtle unless your loved ones are threatened by outworld dangers.
