Overview
The Housemaid is a psychological thriller that grips the audience from the very beginning with its unsettling atmosphere and slow unraveling of secrets. At the heart of the story is Millie, played by Sydney Sweeney, a young woman who finds herself in desperate circumstances. Seeking stability and a fresh start, she accepts a live in position with the wealthy Winchester family. On the surface, Nina and Andrew Winchester, portrayed by Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar, appear to be the embodiment of perfection. Their home is luxurious, their lifestyle enviable, and their relationship seemingly harmonious. Yet as Millie settles into her new role, she begins to notice cracks in the facade.
