Fun Facts
- One of the biggest talking points in the industry was Namkoong Min’s return to KBS. While he is widely regarded as one of Korea’s most trusted leading men, he hadn’t headlined a KBS drama in a long time, having spent a string of years winning Grand Prizes (Daesangs) on other major networks. His casting alone immediately made The Husband one of the most highly anticipated dramas of the year.
- The premiere of The Husband marked a major milestone for the broadcasting network. It officially revived the KBS weekend miniseries time slot, which had been completely dark and on a five-month hiatus following the conclusion of To My Beloved Thief.
