The Ribbon Hero
Overview
Sapphire was a princess. That still carries weight.
Nergal destroyed Silverland, taking everyone and everything she knew, and she walked away with nothing but grief. Even before that, she had lived in hiding, concealing her identity as heir to protect her kingdom. The loss that followed simply added to what she already carried quietly.
Goldland wasn't a destination, just where she stopped moving. Strangers offered kindness with no conditions and no context for her past, and something in her slowly began to shift.
Then Nergal returns. The ribbon is tied, the sword raised. She made a promise in the ashes, and it still holds.

Fun Facts
- The casting of Sapphire turned heads across the anime community. Rather than bringing in a veteran seiyuu to anchor one of manga's most iconic characters, the studio cast Saya of comedy duo Lalande, a comedian and actress making her first-ever leading role in a feature-length anime. Saya herself admitted she almost hesitated when offered the role, saying she has deep respect for the world of anime and how meticulously it is created. That honesty only made fans more curious about what she would bring to Sapphire.
- The film's score is being composed by Satoru Kōsaki and Ryuichi Takada. Kōsaki is one of anime music's most celebrated composers, known for crafting the iconic soundtracks of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, the Monogatari series, Anohana, and Love Live — making him one of the most fitting choices imaginable for a film rooted in the emotional and cultural legacy of Osamu Tezuka's work.
