They Will Kill You
Overview
The film opens with Clara, a young woman searching for stability after a series of personal setbacks. She accepts a job as a housekeeper in a towering New York City high-rise, believing it will be a fresh start. At first the building seems glamorous, filled with wealthy tenants and polished interiors. Yet Clara quickly notices that the atmosphere is strangely cold and the residents avoid eye contact, as if bound by a silent agreement.
This chilling exploration of isolation and hidden history transforms into a desperate fight for life as the building itself seems to consume those who enter. It is an intense, suspenseful experience that is perfect for audiences who enjoy atmospheric horror mixed with dark, absurd humor.
