Overview
Some days change everything. For the Small Three, it starts with a disc.
Pyontaro Tezuka, Hiroshi Ochanomizu, and Tsubame Azuma are ordinary middle schoolers- close friends with unremarkable days and no reason to expect otherwise. Then their teacher Dr. Doc lends them a mysterious disc, a lifelike dragonfly emerges from their television screen, and Pyontaro's little sister Futaba and their pet dog chase after it straight into a parallel world, where they are captured by alien inhabitants.

- In a spectacular bit of multimedia planning, the original Thunder 3 manga officially concluded its four-year serialization in the July issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine, which hit shelves on June 5, 2026. Because the manga wrapped up just a month before the anime’s July debut, fans are highly anticipating a tight, incredibly faithful adaptation that knows exactly where the multi-dimensional story is heading.
