Uttar Da Puttar
Overview
Sai Ram Tuteja has it all sorted. As a renowned Physics professor running a successful coaching centre in Delhi, his daily habits are precise enough to run a clock by. He holds an unshakeable belief in Vastu Shastra that he feels no need to defend. Every bit of good fortune in his life traces back to one core conviction: his house faces the absolute perfect direction.
Then the unexpected arrives, presenting situations that Vastu cannot prepare him for and Physics cannot explain. Circumstances force Sai Ram to confront deeply buried questions. Is it truly the geometric alignment of a house that shapes human destiny? Or is it something else entirely - having everything to do with the loved ones inside?
Uttar Da Puttar is a warm, satirical family comedy about a man who spent his life looking far away, only to miss what was right in front of him.

Fun Facts
- Annu Kapoor plays Sai Ram Tuteja, a widely respected Physics professor who runs a highly successful coaching institute in Delhi. The biggest comic engine of the film is that despite teaching logical, empirical science to his students, he is utterly paralysed by superstition, numerology, astrology, and Vastu.
- In the film, Professor Tuteja becomes convinced that all of his family's personal conflicts and financial problems are happening because his house faces the wrong directions. The production crew actually sourced a real, crumbling 80-year-old heritage house in Delhi to shoot the family scenes. It beautifully represents the irony: the house is literally falling apart structurally, but the main character is only worried about its spiritual alignment!
