Overview
Together now, which should make things simpler. Suzuki and Tani mostly find new things to be complicated about instead. The last year of high school has entrance exams closing in from one direction and a relationship neither of them knows how to navigate closing in from the other. Working out what being a couple actually means turns out to require more than just deciding to be one.

- The band PAS TASTA, who crafted the breakout Season 1 ending theme "Pure" alongside Eriko Hashimoto, revealed an adorable production ritual: all six members of the musical collective collectively re-read the original Jump+ manga volumes over and over again simultaneously while in the studio. They did this to ensure the emotional timing of the song's outro perfectly faded into the warm, fuzzy feeling left by each chapter's ending.
- The production committee intentionally chose renowned music producer and DJ tofubeats to compose the series' soundtrack. Tofubeats revealed that when he read the original manga, he wanted the music to act as a direct cheerleader not just for Suzuki and Tani, but specifically for modern teenagers living in the 2020s. He deliberately blended contemporary lo-fi, synth-pop, and upbeat indie rhythms to mirror the real-world playlist of a modern high schooler.
