Zakhma Toh Chardikala Tak
Overview
Punjab has never been a land that stays down. It bleeds, it grieves, it carries the weight of its history, and then it gets back up. This is the heart of Zakhmaan Ton Chardikala Tak. The title does the heavy lifting: from wounds (Zakhmaan) to that deeply Sikh, deeply Punjabi state of high spirits (Chardikala). The film traces a bruised but ultimately unbreakable journey across generations, exploring how faith and resilience define a people long after the struggle has passed.

Fun Facts
Several sets were built from scratch in remote villages to avoid modern electric poles, paved roads, or satellite dishes appearing in the frame, ensuring total immersion in the 1920s-1980s aesthetic transitions. Unlike the usual high-energy, prank-filled sets Ammy is known for, crew members noted that the atmosphere during this shoot was unusually quiet and reflective, as the actors remained "in character" even between takes.
